David M. Bloodgood

David joined Wright in 2010 as a Loss Control Specialist. Over the past 13 years, he has focused on educational institutions and municipalities while supporting the NYSIR (New York Schools Insurance Reciprocal) and NYMIR (New York municipal Insurance Reciprocal) programs. His responsibilities included on-site risk reviews, training, organizing and presenting at regional seminars, prospect evaluations, and developing written materials related to best practices for insured members. Before being promoted to VP of Risk Management for all aspects of the group programs he specialized as a Risk Management Coordinator – Law Enforcement, providing review of law enforcement policies and procedures for prospective and existing clients, creating newsletters, bulletins and articles, training opportunities, seminars and providing consultation for the nearly 300 law enforcement agencies.

David graduated from The State University of New York at New Paltz where he majored in American History and Business Administration.
